COMPOSITION: inactivated Clostridium perfringens (type A, B, C and D), Clostridium septicum, Clostridium novy (type B), Clostridium tetani and Clostridium chauvoei strains adjuvanted in aluminium hydroxide in sufficient quantity to produce in animal tests:
Clostridium perfringens antitoxin alpha.
Clostridium perfringens antitoxin beta.
Clostridium perfringens antitoxin epsilon.
Clostridium chauvoei antitoxin.
Clostridium novyi type B antitoxin.
Clostridium septicum antitoxin.
Clostridium tetain antitoxin alpha.
ADMINISTRATION RUTE: Subcutaneous injection.
POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION: Subcutaneous injection.
Sheep and goat female: 2 ml/animal, at 3-3.5 months of gestation. Repeat at the same dose, after 1 month.
Lambs, piglets and kids from vaccinated dams: 2 ml/animal, at 25 days old. Repeat at the same dose, after 1 month.
Lambs, piglets and kids from non-vaccinated dams: 2 ml/animal, at 7 days old. Repeat at the same dose, after 1 month. Cattle: 4ml/animal, at 6-7 month of gestation. Repeat the same dose, after 1 month. Calves ( more 3 months old): 4 ml/animal. Repeat, 2 ml dose, after 1 month. Calves (less 3 months old): 3 ml/animal. Repeat at the same dose, after 1 month. Sows: 3 ml/animal at 2 months of gestation. Repeat at the same dose , after 1 month. Famale rabbit: 1 ml/animal, at 15 days of gestation.
Reproductive animals should be vaccinated each year.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not vaccinate ill animals.
ADVERSE EFFECTS: The vaccination may develop in the site of inoculation, indurations or sterile abscess during several days. All biological products may cause local and hyper-sensibility reactions linked to individual idiosyncrasy. If produce, we recommend immediately administration of antihistaminics, corticoids and dreanaline in emergency therapeutic plan, under facultative veterinary prescription.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE: Shake well before use. Use immediately after the first extraction. Do not mix with any other vaccine or immunological product. Disinfect the inoculation point before vaccination. In case of involuntary injection to the person handling the product, light inflammatory reaction my appear disappearing in on or two days.
INTERACTIONS: The vaccinal response can be affected by the use of immunodepressor medicines as corticoids in the previous days or in the ones following to vaccination.
WITHDRAWAL TIME: Zero days.
SHELF-LIFE AFTER FIRST OPENNING: Use immediately after the first extraction.
STRONGE: Store in a refrigerator ( 2 C – 8 C). Protect from light. Do not freeze.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR THE DISPOSAL OF UNUSED VETERINARY MEDICINAL PRODUCT OR WASTE MATERIALS: Any unused veterinary medicinal product or waste materials derived from such veterinary medicinal products should be disposed of in accordance with the local requirements.
